Nest weavers
The dangling nests of the 'village weaver' birds. The male builds them, then shows them off to the female. If she likes it, she lays her eggs in there. If she doesn't, she snips the cord, the nest falls to the ground, and he starts again from scratch. Allegedly, according to Reunionese locals.
I couldn't get this other than against the light, so perhaps go Large for a better look.
