Farewell, Lord Napier

Talk about a blinged up pub! I read somewhere recently that a band (cant remember which) has bought an old pub in Hackney Wick and converted it to a rehearsal studio. Could this be it?

Earlier in the day I passed a photography crew taking pictures of a dancer doing "Singing in the Rain" type spins around the lamppost on the corner of the Lord Napier. They were happy for me to spectate with my camera but my results were underwhelming. The Powershot couldn't handle the speed required.

But on the way back this afternoon the light had moved round and I had a second chance. So here you are. My Wednesday closed pub Blip.
