Steam on a Wednesday

The place I was visiting today wins prizes for the hardest to find. Satnav doesn't identify it and the postcode actually goes to the centre of a nearby village. I asked a bloke there and he directed me back the way I'd come - I assumed that I must have missed a turning but after a few miles I asked a lady walking her dog and she directed me back through the village. As I drove back the same man I'd asked was still outside his house and waved frantically that I was going the wrong way. I politely told him that I'd received some new information and I followed the woman's instructions. Sure enough and much as she'd said I found the main drive and the entrance. The moral of the story is, of course, don't get directions from blokes wearing red polo shirts..........

Good morning and then out to head back and deal with phone calls and emails and general work stuff. Quick scan of the map showed that very close by is the South Devon Railway so I decided to stop off there for a bit of a "head clear" and to see if there were any photo opportunities. As it goes they are running steam trains today and as I was leaving a train pulled in but I decided that you'd like this shot showing the station and the storm clouds scurrying in.

Done a goodly amount today but I'm sure that more will arrive tomorrow. Early start so I'll have to head for bed early tonight and leave all you bright young things to shimmy the night away.
