When is a party not a party?

Sitting here in the office - feeling out of my depth....

Ben's small gathering of friends over tonight, for his 15th birthday, has evolved into a full on party (of 12) with people bringing alcohol ... (I knew in advance) but I know only 60% of the kids.,.... and am on my own....and am thanking goodness that they will all be picked up at 10.00pm tonight....

Am tense; it's loud but not out of hand, but am on full alert. Horribly stressful.

Much prefer to dwell on the lovely day I spent with my sister and children today...running cousins!
