Holy corner

This is holy corner in Edinburgh where there are 4 churches in close proximity. Intrigued that if I make the photo black and white how the area looks so similar as to when I used to come to brownies as a kid here- with 2 big exceptions - no Tescos and no Lucas ( the best ice cream shop....)
