Pensive pumpkin!

Wisely fitted in two dog walks this morning while it was bright and fresh as the day rapidly went down hill weather wise. Cold, wet and miserable here but I suppose at least now it's dark you can hardly tell!
As you probably guessed it was pumpkin carving day today; this chap looks a bit anxious I think. Maybe having your innards scooped out has that effect!
Tomorrow it's going to be party preparations. We have a village party for all the children in the local hall every Halloween. It's being held on Friday so they can go out guising tomorrow night and then enjoy the party the next day. A huge amount of decorating is involved and there may also be a little bit of baking required too!
