Milkweed seed pod

I think this is milkweed, but please correct me if you know better. I spotted it along the trail I was walking in the Arboretum today. This was a fabulous morning for a walk. Sunny and crisp to begin with, but it warmed up much more than I expected by lunchtime. I have spent the afternoon processing my images and culling the ones I wanted to post on flickr.
