Desert Winter (almost finished)

Here is the painting I am working on. It is very close to being finished. Here is how it looked when I started it. As I mentioned last week, it went through a teen age phase but now it's coming out on the other side. I like where it is. I am planning to add a bit more bright color in the foreground and it will be finished.

Worked on it at open studio today. I was in a much better mood than last week. Tonight I'm meeting my painting buddies, the same ones I traveled to San Juan Island with, some of whom were painting today. We are going to have dinner together and enjoy an evening together. Helena is feeding herself and Arvin, bless her.
