Yet another tree climber

But, this time a mammal. Never having done any research on black squirrels, I found out today that the black squirrel is a melanistic subgroup of the Eastern gray squirrel. Who knew?? It has something to do with pigment change.
Today was our day with the grandchildren and they have numerous black squirrels in their yard all vying for the acorns in their gigantic oak tree. They seemed to be a bit skittish and wouldn't be still, but I was able to capture this one in the arms of the tree. I liked the lighting which made the fur seem to have a bluish cast.
