Weather Pumpkin

Eight and a Half Acres, out favorite, local, organic farm, gave us this beauty pumpkin for our party. It sits proudly in its nest of hay, overlooking the horizon, and indicates changes in the weather. Yesterday it bore freckles, littler dark spots caused by the frost, which, later, miraculously disappeared. Today it is wet, evidence of the first rain we've had in ages.
