Waitsburg Mill Fire

The old flour mill in Waitsburg, WA, burned to the ground this morning. The mill was in the beginning stages of renovation. The mill was opened for business by Sylvester Wait in 1865.

Over the years the mill was known as Waits Mill, Waitsburg Mill, Washington Mills, Washington Roller Mill and Preston-Parton Milling Company.
