Fruits of the Spirit at Work: Joy

Today was the first speaker in our new speaker series, presented by RCF + CBI. Rich Sheridan is the CEO of Menlo Innovations, a software development and startup mentorship company in Ann Arbor.

Some of my main takeaways:
Most companies in the software industry run their employees into the ground, but Mr. Rich learned from his early career to create a company that emphasized sustainability in treating employees.
Mr. Rich stayed true to himself, even when most in the software industry told him his methods wouldn't work.
Work and life are hard, but there are memorable moments, which are gifts from God.

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13: "I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man."
