Backing my car
into a lamp post
while pissed
is past.

Being the same colour
(yellow)
as the staffroom walls
some hungover mornings
is also over.

I don’t talk about it
being wine o’clock
or beer o’clock
etc

and I certainly don’t
drink until I drop.

I don’t even think it’s boring
that I now know when to stop.
