Marsden Rock

There used to be a sea arch here until it collapsed into the North Sea. It's now just a stack and home to thousands of sea birds.

I called down to my ancestral home this morning, standing on the beach at 630 am, I was hoping for a nice sunrise but it was very cloudy.

I have many fond memories of this place as a child and a youth, I grew up in South Tyneside and I like to go back and visit every now and again. I also had a nice chat with a lady on the beach who lived locally, it seems that when I have my camera everyone wants to speak to me.

Lots of College course work to do today, so I'd better get cracking.
