Joie de Vivre

Sea, sand and sunshine, a heady combination for the last day of October, and this dog chasing after a ball on the beach at Portobello captures the sheer ecstasy of being alive on such a day.
Dogs and children without coats, ran about in sheer delight as adults sat at tables outside the cafe and on the sea wall, faces uplifted to the sun enjoying perhaps the last of the season's kindly intentions.

Being the glass half empty Lady that I am, I can't help wondering if this is a sweetener for what is to come.......I so hope not.
