Flyway

We live directly under a major East-West flight path for commercial airliners.
Here is one going westwards at sunset tonight, and we have about 30 jets of various sizes per hour overflying us.
They are the same planes as have earlier come in over the east Coast- so a few minutes before being overhead here they can be observed over my sister's home in Louth, Lincolnshire, which is 75 miles away to the east.
I guess we generally have about 1000 or so people every hour, every day of the year, passing over our respective homes on their way westwards from the continent. Planes travelling in the opposite easterly direction follow a parallel path some five miles to the south of here.
Kinda spooky ain't it?
I often wonder if anyone looks down at our place and wonders "who lives there?".
In some senses we are all connected.
