Happy anniversary!

Today is a special day, it's mine and Wesley's one year anniversary.

I'm not sure I know his exact date of birth, so I've decided that we'll celebrate the first day he came home instead. I can't believe it's been a year! I also can't believe that I got him on Halloween - I don't think I even noticed what the date was last year!

So here is Wesley lying in the same rug he did a year ago (he was considerably smaller back then wasn't he!) I love you wee man!

In other news, I went for a run this morning. Last year I only ran in the mornings and I trained myself to run at night to take part in the Speed of Light. Now it's getting quite dark and depressing at night, so I'm going to try and revert back to a morning runner. I just went for a wee 5k this morning to ease back into it. It was wonderful coming home tonight knowing I'd already been for my run. Definitely a good move when the weather is this bad.
