Different foods...
Eva's sleep seems to be getting back to where it was, regarding waking a couple of times in the night and her 2 hour daytime sleep, so hopefully she's feeling a lot better now. The last 3 days she's also had a 20 minute cat nap on my lap too around 5pm, so I wonder if this is also helping her sleep better of a night, as she's not as overtired, as it's a long way to go for her from waking up at 2 pm ish and bedtime, so I think just that 20 minutes nap is a good thing.
Today's pic was her in our bed this morning watching C Beebies whilst I was getting dressed. So cute.
Eva had 2 new foods today. I've given up on the spoon feeding again at the moment as with her cold, she hasn't wanted to know. The only foods she's eaten is little bits she's fed herself, so I've gone back that way now she is swallowing food a lot better than she was. So today, for breakfast, she had some scrambled egg with her toast, and for tea she had some baked beans with her jacket potato now her pincer grip is almost perfected. Bless her, it's so lovely to hear the little "mmmmm"'s and just watch her. She's not eating much but she's enjoying herself, and I feel that she can 'do it' now.
Grandad Hopkins came round this afternoon. Hadn't seen him for over a week so it was lovely to see him, had really missed him. We had a good old natter over coffee and he was letting me know how his Open University work was going. He loves Eva so much, and he was chatting to her loads and just watching her. He was also in hysterics over Daisy, he's quite taken with little Daisy as she's such a little character. He finds her hilarious. She was curled up next to Eva on her mat, and Eva was grabbing her fur and leg etc (I was close by to make sure Daisy was ok) she could have got up and got away at any point, but she was just lying there purring away. It was very funny. 2 little pals in the making I think. Xxx
