Day 284 - Starry Starry Night
Interesting start to the morning... There is a guy camping in our woods with 6 husky dogs and there have been a lot of rumours and one person called the police when he appeared a couple of weeks ago BUT, the police are satisfied that he is doing no harm and that the dogs do not appear to be a nuisance (I called them for an update because I was concerned about letting Dale walk in the woods while a pack of dogs are living there!). In fact Aonghus, who is such a wimp, seems to have made friends with a couple of them as we have walked past his camp.
So, anyway, this morning I met him as he was coming down from the viewpoint and he had 5 of them on leads in one hand and one was off the lead. When they saw Aonghus they came charging down the hill, pulled him off his feet and dragged him along the ground for a good couple of hundred metres! Thankfully the dogs are friendly and they just wanted to play! I didn't know what to do! He managed to get up but when Aonghus charged past him, they pulled him over again.
It was quite comical but I did ask him a few times if he was ok! I felt sorry for him!
Camera Club tonight and we had a really good speaker - Shamil Khairov - a russian photographer who was funny, passionate and inspirational!
I was going to photograph the old bridge tonight but the lights weren't on - obviously on strike with the bin men!!!!!
