Red means danger

I have no idea what this plant is but I'm reasonably sure that it is poisonous.

On the other hand, I only think that because 1) the berries are red (which is a bit of a stupid reason given that strawberries and tomatoes don't seem to kill us all that often) and 2) on a hitchhiking trip to Torquay when I was about 16, one of the people I met up with ate some of these and was immediately told by someone else to go and drink a lot of milk.
