Making History

Today wasn't just Halloween to me but a significant day that will go down in the history of our school. My Y5/6 girls had their first ever netball match against another school! We have never had enough senior girls before to play against the other schools because we only became co-educational a few years ago. The children were incredibly excited and excelled themselves despite their lack of experience. I'm one very proud teacher right now!
This Blip was taken early this morning when I arrived at school to find our gym had been decorated for this evening's children's party. The parents had done an amazing job in decorating and the children looked like they were having a brilliant time attending the party tonight. They were treated with a range of spooky games & yummy treats- lucky, lucky children.
After a 12 hour day at school I'm absolutely pooped & looking forward to sleep time:-)
