And it begins...

I heard them before I saw them...only about 10-20 per tree, but it looks like they'll be descending on us again this year. I am strangely excited to watch their progression, as last year I didn't really notice them until they hit critical mass (i.e until they got on my nerves with their cawing and cackling).
