Head Shaveing

Today 15 people had their heads shaved for child cancer They were very brave but they all looked good without their hair. The ages ranged from 11 to 83
This is a family photo Mum in the center who is 83 she is the oldest person in NZ to have had her head shaved The daughter is on the right and her grandson is on the left He had cancer as a 13year old The girls with long hair had it plaited first as they keep the hair to make wigs for patients. One high school girl raised $4500 grandma raised $3250 as did many of the others raised a great sum all for a good cause
