A ballet sort of day

An exciting day today. Both children did workshops at the Birmingham Royal Ballet, Anna's was for grade 1 and under, Jack's a boys only one grades 2-5, both based on the current The Sleeping Beauty production which we saw last week. They've both had a fantastic time, dancing in enormous professional rehearsal studios. I enjoyed the peek 'backstage' passing directors offices, cast list boards and piles of pointe shoes next to trays for the non-slip stuff the put on them (I can't remember the name of it!).

Some shopping for the afternoon I think, after lunch.
