Woodland Walk

I love walking through woodland on dull even wet days like today as the soft light and low contrast really makes the colours sing.
The recent gales have stripped many of the trees of leaves but the bracken is adding some lovely colour to the forest floor. Fortunately I missed the very heavy rain during my walk. There is however a warning for torrential downpours and wind for tonight and the weekend so hope not too many bonfire parties get dampened.
