Action!

Just off to the left of the shot is Mr. M (he didn't want to be included because he has been staining an outbuilding and is looking pretty shabby). The two of them play like this all the time. Riley and I play in a more refined manner. He is 1 1/2 years old and still has a lot of puppy in him.

Started the day by waking up to no power. Came back on shortly, but had to fiddle with the satellite box to get the tv running and also reset the modem box to get the computer online. Still have no power in one room - thinking something got fried. Very blustery, windy day. My drive to work this morning was in darkness and rain, now later in the afternoon we have blue skies and fluffy white clouds, but still the blustery wind.

Riley has a vet appointment this evening to have his eye checked. We've "doctored" with this eye in the past but it's still causing problems. Surgery may be indicated - they think maybe the eyelid is inverted. Hopefully it's just something that ointment can fix.
