Westminster Abbey..

Had a grand Tour of this magnificent Abbey. The tour guide got a bit snippy with me when I told her that I could only see Queen Mary( known as Bloody Mary's ) effigy and not Queen Elizabeth . She replied " you'd have to be very clever to see Queen Mary, cos there is none!"... My attention must have slipped for a wee moment!
We were instructed very sternly that " Absolutely NO PHOTOGRAPHS in the Abbey". I don't know.. It just makes one want to rebel, so after the tour I found a wee corridor that said " No entry" .. And continuing on past the sign I found the Cloister Gardens. It was so peaceful here, far from the maddening crowds.. And in the distance there was Big Ben.
