This gate is a recent acquisition on a lane quite close to where I live.
Quite why the field suddenly needed it is not entirely clear. In any case, it has no latch on the right-hand-side so cannot be closed. I know that, because I thought it might photograph better if it were!

Anyway, I've added it to my burgeoning collection!
