A pink tree in the distance

Driving home from some volunteer work I took the scenic route home. There is a street in our town called Riverview Blvd which has grand houses and wonderful landscaping delights. In the distance I culd see what appeared to be a pink tabebuia tree-also called ipe. From a distance it is hard to be sure, but this would be the color and the most likely from the looks of it. The flower petals fallen were behind big gates so I could not find out any more info. But this is one of the reasons these trees create such a delightful view when in flower. I would love to have one in my yard!
