Macro Mini Chrysanthemum ...

The day was cloudy and grey and it rained from time to time. I had a lot of work to do inside, so it was no problem.

In the living room we have a mini chrysanthemum with almost only small buds. Looking for a blip I looked through a magnifier to such a small bud. It's just one-half mm (about 3/16 inch), and finally grows into a flour with a diameter of more than 5 cm (2 inches).

Because of the grayish day I chose the colored version. The picture is best enjoyed in the enlarged version. You can see then how beautifully the bud is packed. Press 'L' on the keyboard.
