Hiding

This little guy was busy hiding nuts in this dark corner. He spotted me, paused, then proceeded to bury his prize acorn. This shot was taken as he finished the task... I guess he wasn't too concerned with me knowing where his stash was.

The lighting is terrible today and even though there were many birds and animals roaming about, none of my shots were worth two cents... blurry, grainy, dark... I had to use the flash here and that's not my favorite way to go, but it did the job and I do like how the chipmunk's eyes glow golden with the flash of light.

Not much time for blip today or this weekend. Today I'm cleaning for our company; my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are coming up tomorrow. It will be nice to see them, especially since we missed Mom's birthday party last month when we were both sick with the flu. Hopefully the fall colors are still pretty enough for a bit of a tour while they are here. Anyway, I'll catchup with you all here and there as I can. Enjoy your weekends!!
