If on a grey, wet Friday you happen to be in Essex, with your two dogs, off lead some distance ahead of you and you are approaching someone with their dog on a lead who, on seeing your advance, shortens the lead of their dog and then , on seeing that you are continuing to advance with your dogs ahead, steps a few feet into the field. If that is you and you continue to advance, at a snail pace as your dogs decide to go full steam ahead to 'play' with that on lead dog and you see the human with that dog then lift it from the ground as your dogs noses connect with that other dog, you see that human holding that now growling dog to her chest as you continue your snail like advance. Now if that is you, do not for one moment think that human enjoys holding the 15k of wet, wriggling and snarling dog as yours 'play' at her feet. Do not think for one moment as you smile and say hello as you finally reach her that she is going to reciprocate your greeting. Be thankful in fact that she is biting her tongue. Perhaps even call your dogs away?.......... Rant over
