Dirty Dahlia Dancing
We spent the most part of the day dancing with our dahlias.
It is right time for digging up the tubers to store them for the winter.
Gently removing the fragile tubers from the flower bed made each of the nine plants a mini archeological excavation in itself.
Amazing how the tubers have grown an multiplied since the early summer.
The tubers can be separated and like potatoes each will produce a new plant.
Next season I have a plan to have dahlias coming up in the community garden.
