Sticky

Knife sticky with juices from a quince tart. I absentmindedly raised the knife to my mouth to lick it and then, just in time, decided it wasn't a good idea as it is one of those really sharp ones. Lick the wrong bit and I could have ended up with no tongue.

The quince tart was fabulous. Handmade by Rol with quinces from someone else's garden.
