Borer. Or at least, what's left of your rimu floorboards. Luckily it seems this feast had happened a very long time ago, and once I had lifted about 6 metres of board it was all gone, and there was absolutely no sign of it in the joists. Once of posted this I'l get back out there and put one more new floor board in and the job will be done. Yay.
