i blipped a ladybird larvae in Sept (here) , this is one that is almost an adult . it's not the sharpest of images ( i was cold and it was very windy ). you can see , on the lower back it's becoming a ladybird proper , shedding it's larvae skin for the hard carapace we are used to .
