Changeable
Weather's been rather a movable feast today.
It was glorious driving through Saffron Walden this morning (out with my IAM trainee) - so much so I was partly regretting not taking the camera.
The rest of the day so far has mostly been concreting in a post to hold some trellis up. While doing that the weather oscillated between sun and black. Inside now, it's just bucketed down, albeit briefly, then bright sun.
Didn't get much of a rainbow but this blustered tree caught my eye.

Pragmatic solution to large pile of junk temporarily unused assets in the garden. Put trellis round it.

In the evening we played Brass. A board game (with a Lancastrian industrial-revolution theme) I'd bought ages ago but not played here because the rules are a nightmare. It's not that the game rules are complex, but that the way the rules are written is in a way that is horrendously difficult to comprehend what's actually going on.
With the help of some player-written guide-to-the-rules pulled off BGG we managed a game.
We concluded it's actually rather a good game. I even won, but not by much.
Must write some comprehensible notes before I forget how the game is played.
