Day Dawn

10.1C with a dull grey morning, then rain clearing through late afternoon. Windy.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath and had an early walk round the harbour. It was dry, but dull and cold. I took some photos but wasn't much inspired by anything. Not even the dredger Shearwater which has returned and is moored in the outer basin. It was sitting at an angle, absolutely covered in mud. I have pictures but they were just too dull and grungy. Instead I have chosen the simplest of photos of a little boat. It at least has some colour.

The rain came on before lunch so Maeve and I have only had short walks when she has asked to go out. Not the best of afternoons. The forecast is better for tomorrow. I can't wait !
