HELLO MUM

Seven and a half hours on the motorway, for a journey which can take less than four. Though we finished our journey safely. Others on the M25 didn't. The traffic down there reminds me of one of the reasons I prefer living in the north.

Baby C is adorable and coming on very well. His parents are still a bit shocked, and the six weeks they thought they had left to prepare for his arrival are a far gone dream. His Mum had to phone the office on the day of his surprise arrival to say she wouldn't be coming in to work!

We had a lovely visit, a meal and stayed the night, and are now home after a much easier journey northwards. It will be a while before we head south again so we will have to rely on photos of Baby's progress for now.
