It's Movember.

And I'm bucking the trend as you can see.

Rather than growing a moustache............I've shaved mine off.

And it all started with this little boy.

He and I, and his daddy, were up at 0530 this morning, but I decided to go back to bed with a coffee and do some catching up with blip comments.

As I went to this page I was taken by the comment on this page and as a result decided to sign up and join with those trying to make a difference to men's health and in particular for research into prostate and testicular cancer.

In memory of those we have lost, and those affected by, to the awful curse of cancer.

And also in the hope that when this lovely boy grows to maturity, the fear of at least these types of cancer will have been eradicated.

BTW. The blip of me and the second one of the boy were taken on a lovely day out today to Chester Zoo.

And I got a huge telling off from Mrs DD for shaving my tache off. Other than for some minor surgery 30 odd years ago, this is the only time I've been without it since we got married.

She forgave me when I told her why.
