This evening we were supposed to be attending the village bonfire and firework display. But the weather soon ruined that plan. There was a storm earlier and I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it! Forked lightning everywhere! And torrential rain and hailstone. Lovely! So there was only one thing for it - fireworks and sparklers in the back garden.

At least we're tucked up all warm and cosy at home now though. Strictly, X Factor and ice cold beer. That's how we like to roll on a Saturday.
