Swamp

In the morning we visited an ancient monastic site, Nendrum, and then met up with Pete's brother and family for a wander round Castle Espie Wetlands Centre. It's a great place for families, there was so much to see and it was a really nice walk. We also had great views over the northern end of Strangford Loch - we were staying in Portaferry, at the southern end of the loch, so it was nice to have a look at a different bit!

This photo is of a swampy area in the forest at Castle Espie - we both thought it was the swampiest looking swamp we'd ever seen!
