A Small Thing But...

Went to the centre of Paisley to see the official firework display which was indeed truly spectacular as claimed by the Provost. There were great bursts of colour, swirls of light like catherine wheels and accompanying music. It was enough to make you forget the rain that was teeming down but decided not to use my iPad in the circumstances.

I was well wrapped up with waterproof jackets and cap but really had to change after it. Then it was up to the church for the bonfire but the long wet period today meant that only a small fire was possible.

Never mind, there was tea, coffee, hot dogs and biscuits and a chance to meet people.
