Fireworks in the gale

I'm not wearing that coat, Dad

Well, I'm not wearing it

We will not leave until you wear it. Do you want to miss the fireworks?

I'm not wearing it...

Fast forward 20 minutes.

Dad, I'm cold. I want to go home.

Some minutes pass. Dad has lost his coat. Coat is now around Son #2's shoulders.

We did end up coming back early. We did manage to see most of the fireworks. They don't look quite the same in a gale. They don't really hang in the air!
