Sea defences
Happisburgh is on the Norfolk coast but cannot live up to its name because sections of the village fall into the sea, and its main road ends abruptly at a sudden drop to the shoreline many meters below. The shore includes sections of sea defences and bits of brickwork, smoothened by the tides of decades, where people once lived and prospered. Big stopper in action again!
