Tango in Buenos Aires
We arrived in Buenos Aires after a 2,000 mile flight from El Calafate at about 1.30am. A bus ride to our hotel and straight into bed! Up at 7.30am for a city tour.
I’ve been to Buenos Aires once before. It is a lovely city, full of life. Tonight we are going to a Tango party, so I thought I had best get some practice in!!
This blip was taken in Boca, which is a really colourful province of the city. It also contains Argentina's most important building, the stadium of Boca Juniors. Maradonna is worshipped in Boca. He is considered more holy than the Pope. Buenos Aires has a public holiday when they play the other team in the city, River Plate. The city literally comes to a standstill for 24 hours.
