Just playing with my toys xxx

Wahoooooo! Eva woke once in the night, how excellent! At about 2am. Then slept til gone 8. Oh I hope this is a sign of things to come. You watch, if it is, it won't be long before I'm missing our night time cuddles, so she can't win either way. I'll take it for now though, just for a few weeks. We're just waiting for her curtains to be adjusted by Aunty Jean and she'll be in her own room. I'm really gonna cry then. I thought it was supposed to be babies getting separation anxiety, not the grown ups!

Uncle John came round this morning for tea and toast and a squidge of Eva. She was in her jumperoo when he arrived giving it some! So cute to see her little legs go and her holding on tight. Was so lovely to see my brother and have a catch up.

She had a good roll around on her mat after her nap this afternoon (today's pic). She seems to play more and more now, and studies her toys more. She was also clapping her hands quite a bit today too.

A new food today was Philadelphia in her jacket potato at tea time. She seemed a bit unsure at first, but soon polished off about two thirds of a small spud which I'd cut into wedges. Followed by some raisins which she now loves.

Apart from the blooming fireworks waking Eva up once (am fast developing a hatred for fireworks already), Eva was bathed by Daddy, had her milk and snuggles with Mommy, and was in bed fast asleep by just after 8 xxx
