'tis the season...

'cuz far be it from me - to mention that other word - although i think i've already said it once way before its time - several weeks ago - and now look! we're in november people! november... how'd that happen? i've barely turned around from it being january last month - now i need to do it all over again? jeesh...

for whatever reason - the cactus is not producing the same flourishing number of buds and blossoms this year - as it did last year - perhaps it's about to slide into a state of dormancy (is that a word?) - i remember with a couple of my other ones - i didn't get blooms for a couple of years - boo! this one has been faithful to me - yet i'm suspecting something might be up - so i'll enjoy these very few blossoms it's giving off right now and call it...
