*Neither Snow Nor Rain…
I hadn't intended going anywhere today — we were having a typical fall rainstorm — but I started to get cabin fever around five o’clock, and felt the need for a (little) fresh air. I also thought about the possibility of a blip.
I dressed for the weather, grabbed an umbrella from the car, and headed for the mailbox — I said I needed only a little fresh air. Holding the umbrella with one hand, and my iPhone with the other, I managed to get this shot, which will have to suffice for today.
*Part of the well-known unofficial creed of the United States Postal Service, inscribed on the James Farley Post Office in New York City. According to Wikipedia, it’s a translation from the Greek Herodotus’ "Histories" and refers to the courier service of the ancient Persian Empire.
