The Back of the Big Yin
A very pleasant day out in Glasgow today with the missus.
It's the one day in the year when we both have a day off together without the kids and we always make a point of getting out and about and gettin' in a bit of 'kulch-yur'. This normally means a trip into Edinburgh and a wander around the Galleries, but as I had to drop off my Canon for a repair we headed into Glasgow instead.
Got taken a bit off guard walking down Buchanan Street and a certain well known Scottish comedian strolled past looking all "windswept and interesting". Whether he was heading to the Buchanan Galleries for a bit of shopping or the Royal Concert Hall I'm not sure but he was getting stopped every now and again to sign scraps of paper or have his photo taken, which he seemed to be more than happy to do. The fact that he was quite boldly striding up the street with the rest of the crowds seemed to catch most people unawares, so much so he had passed and was on his way before it had registered who it was.
The picture isn't the best but I like the look of incredulity on the moustached gent as he walks towards him and the woman in the red jacket pointing out to her totally uninterested offspring who's just walked past.
